Just think about situations in which the enemy champion avoided yours without being aware that you want to skillshot him: "Luck".
Ofc, you can improve, but randomness beats your pro *** nevertheless.

And what would have happened if the meta shifted into a direction where AAs are more favored?
IMO Dodge will clear the way for a state that defends you from casters.
Why? Marketing.

The thing is, skill and luck are so closely intertwined that eventually you can't see the difference. Or even know that there is one. All skill boils down to is repetiton. The more you do something, the better you should get. There is always an external determining factor, RIOT is attempting to reduce the number of external factors.

And in tournament play I don't think I've ever seen a team win just because they got lucky. They did what they do best, and came out on top because that day they were the better team.

Team winning cause they got lucky? Never said that, but "team getting advantages because of that" is more likely. Skill is greater than luck/randomness, but 2/3 is greater than 1/3 aswell.
Using your argumentation crit also must be removed. Is that going to happen? Not rly.

And trying to remove randomness in games is the same as cutting off important parts of them.
-> You cant without crippling it.

And btw. "dodge too rng":
Ofc thats true testing it on 10 hits and saying that its most likely to be hitted less/more than anticipated.
But testing it on the long run (1 game on SR perhaps) you can actually calculate the dmg you negated thx to dodge, resulting in (AA dmg - ~x% dodge chance).

While a full-tank pumps himself up to avoid 50-60% AD dmg, s1 using only Tabis aovided +10% AA dmg easily.
That results in a variaton of possibilities for tanks:
Getting yourself Tabis while fighting against on-hit effect champs gives you freedom to concentrate on MR to shield against the main dmg.
Ofc thx to meta/marketing Riot totally neglected shaping Dodge up for actual usage (Mercury = better than anything else, why bother thinking about sth else?)
And Armor wont save your sorry *** against ArP.
