I agree. What I mean is if you play 10 games a day for instance. on a good day you win 9 out of ten with no trolls afk baddies. on average you win 5-7 games you'll will get out the tier you in at a decent rate. Now lets say you win 3 out of ten on a normal day at best you break even. chances are your probably are going to stay where your at and there is something you need to improve on to get you those wins. Granted people troll especially in lower elos why because most bronze are either people who are kids, or just like to mess with people because they probably have a high elo smurf and they help boost their friends up.
believe it or not you can win if you have a troll in your game we all have done it even if someone afks its wayyyyy harder but its not impossible

Only for smaller sample sizes. It fully neutralizes over larger amount of games.
I'd love if someone could do the maths to see what the chances are that you lose 5+ games more than you win because of AFKs/DCs over 100+ games, but I'm expecting it to be very slim.

IDK. I think if anything most games are lost because people not communicating and arguing I mean I get there are some people that don't type in chat but then you got the annoying ones that all chats their frustrations on the other team. If im on thee other team im going to target that guy every time because I know he is going to flame the team they get mad, get thrown off their game, and we take a free W thanks to a childish player

That said, there is some variance. Bronze and Silver are only slightly different. Most of Gold is pretty much the same. And people don't always play to their max. We have ups and downs, and our elo often reflects a set of roles (I'm definetly lower than gold as a mid laner, for example), so that "I've seen bronze players beat platinum guys" doesn't mean much. Plus there's more to LoL than laning phase. A lot of people get stuck in low elo while wrecking consistently in laning phase, but as they suck post-laning phase, they lose games even after getting fed. This will also make it easier to blame your allies ("I got fed in lane, so it's YOUR fault"), when it might have been your fault.

Couldn't agree more. But I would go even further and say the most difficult thing is to close a game. In low ELO when people get fed sometimes they forget about the fact that after a certain point objectives > kills. And instead taking down that inhibitor tower they will just go and take a small camp in the jungle or chase down a support to get one more kill. It is very frustrating because to be honest I have absolutely no idea how to deal with these situations. Because what I try to do after winning my lane is keep rotating between other lanes and help my teammates to get down those towers but when I go split and ask my team to push other lanes now or just take other objectives or at least ward the enemy jungle they keep coming to my lane to get a fcking kill or two. And we all end up dying or lose map pressure. GG!
Anyways I think it is also very important around what time of the day you playing. For e.g. I stopped playing between 1pm-10pm. I just can't deal with that amount of.. Well, you know.
However after a long losing streak finally started to climb again and playing for S2 later on. Hopefully can reach GOLD before the end of the season :)

When a challenger beats bronzes --- that doesn't prove anything.
Just because Lebron James joins your junior high school basketball team and leads you to state... doesn't meant that a) The point guard is actually good or b)That the Center isn't a horrible troll.
I want to see a gold V person carry silver 3's consistently --- that would disprove ELO hell.
Also, I guess Dunkey was lying then in his last post that many many people agreed with regarding the ability to carry.
I used to care about KDA, now I care about CS and Objectives.
