ELO system

i think that the ELO system is an incredible way of rating players in a 1v1 situation.. but what i am saying is that it is simply not working in a team game.. problem is i do not know a better way of doing it.. i find that a big part of the problem is the lack of response from riot when it comes to DC/leaves.. if they were more strict, less people would do it, and if they did it they would be banned most of the time anyways so we wouldn't play with them..

Law of Large numbers, and a few other statistics/economics principles states that you will have an equal number of DC/Leavers on each team, over a large number of games.

At a certain point Riot feels your ELO is now balanced where you should be.

You will start to lose -12 and gain +13.
Current Solo Q Elo = 1405+

I know it's hard to carry a game, that's why it's called "High Elo". It's not easy to get there. Learn how, and accept that DCs and trolls are a part of life. Keep playing.
