Personally I thought he was fine as he was, potentially overpowered actually. If riot wanted to remove potential toxic gameplay, I get that, but they probably wanted him to be more popular. His new ult has been severely nerfed compared to what they promised. His basic abilities will be disabled. Sure he has 4500 range to fire mortars but now split over 4 charges instead of 3 and you cannot use your stun so you will be very team-reliant. I'll have to see the numbers when they are live, and they better improve his base mana pool. The new Q seems stronger though and the W does a good amount of damage when you hit enemies in the center. What I'm pretty scared of is that riot made him OP. I don't like my favourite champion ending up on the permaban bench. His kill potential with just Q, W and E seems very high. Combining that with his ult for teamfights... damn[/quote]
