Tristana higher than Ashe?

Oh, I just noticed that. I'd say Ashe>Trist. Her ult and slow is just sooo good.

You guys have to see LocoDoco play Tristana. She is by far one of the strongest ranged carries in solo queue. Every kill or assist she can reposition herself for another with Rocket Jump, her AS buff is ridiculous and she scales better than any of the ranged carries late game. Plus her and Irelia are the only champs I've gotten a penta-kill in Ranked with.

Ashe is much better than Trist in arranged 5's when you have a tank that can protect you through vent. Shen or Rammus are good picks with her. But without that and especially in solo q all the popular assassin picks like Nocturne, Shaco, Kassadin will easily kill Ashe whereas a Tristana can rocket jump away. Also since Jarvan has increased in popularity in solo Q he is officially the ranged carry killer, without flash up Ashe can easily get 3-shotted by a Jarvan without room for escape and with the chaos in solo q teamfights and unorganization, it is very hard to counter his ulti.

Trist also has a much better early game than Ashe and can beat an Ashe mid easily, she has mini nukes with rocket jump and explosive shot that can push ashe out lane. with doran's shield and armor seals to start you can easily win any early game exchanges against a fellow AD carry.

For those interested Locodoco released his personal Trist build recently:

He takes ignite over ghost in solo Q to win mid early game and quickly snowball out. premades ghost is a preferred choice.

This.

Even though Ashe is a strong pick, she requires a team built around her (which isn't that hard, but you have to trust the 4 guys backing you up). Tristana has facets that make her self-reliant.

Tristana is good in the hands of a good player. Atlanta plays Trist quite often, if I recall correctly.

it really depends what you want from your carry

tristana is more about outright damage and she has skills based around that to make it easier for her

ashe has utility and strong damage, and she has the ability to help her teammates from any location on the map and has a clairvoyance of her own

Yeah big debate whether Atlanta is better than Locodoco at Trist. Both are amazing, loco is over 2000 ELO while Atlanta is around 1800 I think.

Back on topic, your best bet with Ezreal is to take him in duo lane and try to get fed early (that's how I make him work). You'll need an Alistair preferably to do the best. Janna would work well too.

Alistar in lane? lol

Just have Ali roam and gank your lane a bunch. Gives you more gold/experience, and you still get his help with the kills from time to time.

yeah roam Alistar is good too, but Ezreal isn't great in solo lane anymore. with Alistar's CC he can keep pinging mystic shots at enemy, around 3-5 hit easily with a good headbutt. It works well and I've gotten several kills early with it. his headbutt in lane is really good for zone control, you can easily deny with an Ezreal there sitting behind the enemy creep wave pinging them and alistar headbutting them back. alistar roam only works if solo lanes are strong at early levels really (like Xin at lvl 3). so far I've had most success in duo lane with my friend on Alistar, after you kill he can always leave lane to roam.

You're probably right about this PFP. Thanks for the link to Locodoco's build, it wasn't on solomid last time I was there.
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.

I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817
