I never thought i'd be saying this, but with the New patch notes released, i am giving serious thought to playing ranked 3's again. Some of the items listed just look so cool and interesting and fun! Plus, Since there is something equivalent to baron nashor in twisted treeline now, it makes me think that standstills will be kind of non-existant now. I usually got the feeling that they were pretty common when i played.

What do you guys think? Should i give 3's another try?

You can always try the beta version to see if you'll do it or not. I tried it and I like it, although it may take a game or two to adjust to the new features. The Vilemaw is definitely harder than the dragon (even if you're level 15 and you're fed).

I honestly do not like the new map, the shrines feel clunky and riot didn't really do much to add more champion variety. I might play it again but it will be after its beta.

Tanky DPS still runs the game in the new TT. It's nicer, and it's more viable as a jungle and buff go. It looks nicer, but it doesn't make any different champions more viable compared to the tanky DPS

As long as people haven't figured this out still, I'll be taking free wins as Lee Sin.

Am I the only one that thinks the alters slow it down further?

Still need to try it out, but i think that the extra altar will better ensure that a smart, aggressive team will beat a passive and defensive team.
