Personally I think it's very rare for a skin to actually be an improvement on the base champion. I can only think of a few examples where it's the case, like Aether Wing Kayle
or
DJ Sona
, and I got those already. On my most played champions like Brand or Zyra, I actually think the skins are worse than the base champ.

I agree! I always quote this on stream when asked why I don't use skins on most champions. I'm not trying to be Faker, I just don't want to spend money on a downgrade.
