Not gold+ elo (only silver with team :P meh) someone already mentioned space, tapping it helps, also i think the colorblind mode in options help you keep track of things a bit too. My problem is that sometimes i lose the mouse lol, especially when getting bashed around by ali and xin etc.

Well
Lux being a long ranged Champion, you shouldn't even be in the fray, but on the sidelines. If you're fighting in the jungle the Ult has enough range to hit anyone anyways.
And for the general idea, I try to look at what the biggest threat to my carry is and try kill/disable them in some way as soon as the fighting starts, thats it. I mean as long as you keep track of your priority targets there is no problem is there? It's still only the ADC and you and 1-2 enemys you really need to watch out for, since your team should also be doing it's job.
If you play someone with huge CC (Sona's Ult for example) just dont use it early where you might not hit more than one person.
That's just my 2 cents.

ontopic: i don't tunnel vision, i space out, especially is there are a considerable amount of dashes and blinks. my vision works a lot on the edges and if there is much going on at the same time i have to focus hard. then i may have tunnel vision, but usually only happens if i'm playing a melee and a couple of chars are very close to each other. for me is hard to focus, especially if i'm not in position to get a good target. if i'm playing adc, if people jump onto me i'll probably just wait for a "you have been slain". if i'm going for a very fixed objective (eg: iniciate as
