Looked like a month of amazing builds and some new amazing theory crafters :)! hopefully the next couple of months will be equally as awesome!
Chane, if I may call you Chance, if someone is dedicated to their guide, they will thrown in updates when the champion gets patched. The best guides for champs stay where they are and can be seen on each champions 'profile' in the database.
Builds get noticed like all builds do. They are made, put at the top of the list, and if something has a noticable name, it gets viewed. If it doesnt seem like anything special, than people look away. I mean Ive seen more standard Eve, Akali, Yi, etc builds out there that I dont comment like I use to.
But if someone makes something different, it gets noticed. It might get flammed, but there are those that will like it as long as its explained well.
Examples: Tank Kennen, TANKEON, Vampiric Eve, and a few others Ive got my eye on.
We all have the potential to make great guides, but its all abot the presentation

Yeah, but whats the process in order to get a Vet recommendation?
For instance, ive noticed not ONE Sion build has any Vet Reccomendations.
However i just panned through some Blitzcrank guides and saw this barely elaborated guide that had a Vet Rec.
How do you get one of those honors? What type of qualities in a guide do Vets look for in order for you to come to the conclusion
''Oh, i like this build alot, i should recommend it for everyone''
And theres only so many variations of builds a champ can have until it gets foolish.
Or at least so i think. ;]
Some builds as youve said, like Tank Kennen from Static, your Tank Pantheon and some other variations i feel are viable.
However if you get stupid things like this Movement Speed Swain i saw, its stupid.
What do you think on that? What happens when all of the viable build ideas are created by respectable names?
Is there any room for new builds of the same kind? Does that category get eliminated? Especially if its kept up on and updated every patch?

Well, two of the guides were re-posted by authors who wanted a more honest rating on them. "My" Rammus guide is an import from Leaguecraft. I'd say that out of the 10 guides on the front page, 5 of them are new, original, and deserve to be up there.
Chance Vet Recommendations are given out based on the Vet.
Personally, I look for builds and guides that are just as offbeat as mine. I look for guides and builds that arent the normal every day thing. I look for guides like Tankennen, AP Shen from Valiastice, The AP/AD/Hybrid Yi from ShadowReign757, and there is a Tank Galio that I recommended since the user embraced the unpopular role that Galio can fill.
