Personally I am looking forward to playing as Lucian because Riot has produced so many champions that makes it seem they could solo it all and win it by themselves but Lucian seems to need the assistance of his team mates to get the best out of him and I personally feel this will give alot of players out there a good reminder that League of Legends is and always has been a team based game.

except they did the whole "monster hunter" thing poorly other than giving his guns light shooting powers
i dunno how they didnt make this theme better, with rengar they made him to be a hunter and made him feel like a hunter assassin that sneaks in the bushes but with lucian they tried to make him be a purifier by shooting light from his guns, with some added story with thresh to make him seem revenge-y, and he has too many of the "dark humor" puns, they should have made him emotionless like diana, something tragic happened in his life and he has to live through it and face the one that "took his better half" so i dont expect to him say "Dont look grim" when you move around, maybe something more revenge sounding
