I find Fiddlesticks is AWESOME mid, but that may just be me. I mean he only has a silence, fear, drain, and an ulti that crushes 3+ minion wave with ease.

i use ahri as mid but even champs are weak against in some champs it also depend if your playing draft,rank or blind pick...it also depends in playstyle of a player all of us has different playstyle im also planing to buy zyra coz she's one of the most strongest in mid .you may check here the list of champs that always banned in game and champs with highest winning rate http://www.lolking.net/

Machinae:Seriously? Cassiopeia low reward? Are you high? She has one of the highest aoe damage output in the game, a speedboost on low cd if hit, aoe damaging slow (like combining Singed q and W), an aoe stun and single target sustainable nuke.
