Seriously though, after I get my first two items on him (Mercs + Will) I usually 1v3, no matter what kind of farm everybody has (unless one person got extremely fed).
He is not a very difficult champion to use, though sadly I have seen him used poorly. Once you get the right build he is nearly invincible, more specifically if you get some defense with that AP.

the ultimate powerhouse. He needs a good team comp and his early game becomes quite bad (really squishy and dies to ganks fast). Need sight ward at level 1. It's a priority

Yup, been ganked at level 2 by Shaco, Rammus, Lee Sin, Riven... How many more can I think of...? And come out just fine.
