Why they did it? Well simple. The silence made her have very little counterplay, and instead of trying to preserve it and trying to make it work, they simply removed it. Lazy but effective design.
I would prefer to make her more combo-based. Make the Q have different effects upon being proc'd by a different ability. For example:
Q procs Q: Second Sigil lasts longer.
W procs Q: Refunds mana.
E procs Q: Silences.
Then the mimicked Q could have stronger buffs such as a longer silence, more mana refund, etc.

that'd be interesting. Particularly, the Q-> W change you propose would be very interesting. It'd make risky plays (like offensive use of
Distortion) feel rewarding.
I'd be very excited to see Q->E have an effect that caused the snare to instantly be applied, followed by the slow effect

Could work. But like binding the silence to her E for example would make it tougher to proc; thus allowing more counterplay.

The best way to fix Leblanc is to have her wear less clothes.

W procs Q: Refunds mana = sounds like a bit too ideal trading tool (depending on the amount).
I don't think they're going to give her back the silence in any form or duration. Interrupting channels maybe.

It's about the idea of having Q have different effects based on with which ability you proc it, not the actual effects.

You need to log in before commenting.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
If i could make a change to leblanc, i think the thing that would make so that mimic: sigil of malice would still silence people if it got procced - just not the normal Q. What do you think?
