Posting this ahead of time.

So Day 2 new patch. New critical strike chance algorithm, anyone notice any significant changes?

Are you critting more or less? Is it effecting your game positively or negatively? Etc. Etc.

Thoughts? Concerns? Goats? Phantom dancers?

Seeing as how before, it was based on luck, and now it's based purely on a flat amount.

It could honestly go either way for some people.

Before if you had 50% chance to crit and you attacked a mob 4 times, you could not crit once if you happened to be unlucky.

Now if you have 50% chance to crit and you attack a mob 4 times, you should crit 2 times.

That's how they explained it, and I did some testing and it seems to work just like that.

same reason why they changed yis passive from 10% to every 7th strike eh?

Haha yeah I think it's better. I had been getting pissed off lately when I would play a caster, have 1% crit chance and still manage to crit twice in a row on minions. Don't know why but it pissed me off. The day before the patch I actually crit 6 times in a row with 10% crit - bit annoying (even though it's good for me). Kind of want to try Tryndamere with the changes but I was having too much fun on Renekton last night.

Yeah, the dumbest thing ever is not knowing whether Gangplank will lucky crit that last Parrrley or not.
