what does soraka have that makes her a good ADC?
she has a low base AD ratio, no AD ratio moves, her heals scale off of AP, her Mana buff/damage is based on AP
all she has is auto attacks and a bad heal, that's like saying I can ADC with brand because I'm good with him.

Sona/ Soraka is fun for normals.
But please, don't take it to ranked XD
Soraka just has no reason to be an adc. She has NO escape, NO steroid, NO ad scaling and terrible base stats for an adc. Sure she has an armour buff, an mr shred and a silence..
If anything she would make a better mid laner :3
The problem is, other adc's will outscale you early, mid and late game. Plus, as I stated earlier, two of the most popular adc's right now, Miss Fortune and Tristana are going to absolutely tear you apart. You also get hard countered by Ignite and are vunerable to ganks all laning phase with no escapes.
It also just gives more reason to focus Soraka in a team fight.
In all honesty, I couldn't care less what you play in normals, even in your own ranked games with your team of 5, but please, don't ruin other peoples ranked games with your bananas.

AD Sona + Support Soraka is a much better to start with...
AD Sona + Janna is even better. I've done both of these combos a bunch of times and they work really well.
You also have to try this: Soraka (support. Don't ever play her AD if you're serious) + Galio
