lol, I went 5-5, got placed in Bronze II, then immediately got 28 LP for my first win. If the system doesn't think my MMR is Bronze, why even place me there in the first place?

The system for Flex Ranked is beyond busted. Me and my friend both went 7/3 in placements a few days ago, both got P1. Then we played another 10 games and both got promoted to D5. He plays his re-placement game today and gets Gold 2, I play mine and get Plat 3.
Those are forgiving examples of the Flex placements too, just look at the Reddit threads on them, it's hilarious :D

Ah I see! If I knew this was their plan, I would have just waited to do my Placements now. Practically a waste of time playing those extra 12 games and getting to Diamond :D
I guess it's the Pre-Season though, so it doesn't really matter too much.
Plus, it's Flex Queue and they might not even keep it.

It broke a bunch of things, that's why they reset it again. It did things like place people who were in silver at the end of the season in high gold or plat.
