the thing is, they explain it so bluntly it makes sense
like, "i dont upgrade my boots because the extra 600 gold earlier on makes me finish my offensive items before the enemy finishes them, assuming equal farm rate, and kills set me even closer to that goal"
where as someone here could write like, 20 lines saying the exact same thing

Ofc if it wont be a srs issue later... and if you can write a guide there why not here?
IDC if you are the top player on the world or not... a build is just a build... srsly... it is skill that makes them good.
So unless it is a major threat or it will not be spammed over here and there... idc. But if we start to use it as the "only reference"... than i think moderating will come in handly.

i like these forums and it has a great community, and i've always like the guide layout, but there is just too many guides and its hard for people to find or know which guide is actually good, because guides to get upvoted alot by friends and can mislead people, thats why the voting system is always changing until matt or whomever finds the best possible way to separate guides more, and im behind that, i like this website and want it to be better.
but this is no high elo website so you have to expect guides to be all kinds of good/bad, and solomid is a high elo website and you can be more assured and confident with the guide you read.
