This seems fun and all but how much of it is an attestament to our actual skill? Unless we pre with the members here often, if we enter we will be clueless how each of us play and that leads to team disorganization as bad a solo queuing. I'm not sure where I satnd on this tourney but I sort of want to join ish. Idk.

vis is wrong. while yes luck is involved (if you random as your main vs someone you never played)
skill is much more important in recognizing what builds work and what don't. as vis said earlier some builds that are complete **** explode with power, some builds that rape face (ad yi for example) are complete **** in aram.
the point of an aram is that its just one giant team fight the entire game, the only way to escape it to buy stuffs and w/e is to die.

Luck is indeed involved, But the luck acts as a sort of balance. Say you are significantly more skilled than the other player. If you get evelynn and he gets vladimir, then suddenly the skill doesnt matter. It is really REALLY hard to lose to evelynn as vladimir, no matter bow bad you are.
Just can't feel like i can compete in a turney. when the match culd be unbalanced from the start.
When every thing is all random. it leaves alot of the match upp to pure luck. I don't play alot league of legends high ELO ranked. but i did play in Dota league. and i had a HoN team. and many times the games is lost b4 it even starts. at the champion select screene. and this is gap is even bigger when special rules is implemented. Cuzz i rather have a blitzcrank on my team when i play -ARAM than a evelyn...
it doesn't really take skill to learn a build. i'm sorry but it doesn't. just some experience.
ofc i wuld be a fun thing. but really now... can't defend it for being "fair"

Ok I admit I might have been wrong about the skill to luck ratio. It might be more like 50/50 or 60/40 or something.
Anyway, it doesn't have to necessarily be a "tournament". We could just make it so that it's more like a community day type thing, and every body has fun playing semi-competitive ARAM in tourney-style brackets.

I just want to keep smiling FOREVER
