The front page and positive traffic

As was said above, that is the thing that people enjoy about the MOBAFire guides system - we are totally open, anyone can post and anyone can rise to the top, if people like their work. That being said, we provided the Veteran recommendation system as a way to help promote guides that deserve to be seen despite what their score is. This is similar to what some other sites do in cherry picking the top guides, without compromising the open format of the site. The combination of the open scoring system and the closed recommendation system gives a lot of options in helping users find guides that they will like. The C2V system helps protect your guide during its early "incubation" period. If you find you rise quickly and hit the homepage then suddenly drop, there is probably more going on than just "I got seen and now everyone trolls me". Further, we have now split general guides and team guides out from many places on the site to further promote the best straight champion guides. Anyways, if you REALLY think the scores are incorrect, go vote! Vote, vote, vote.[/quote]
