Hello, everyone. After months and months of practice, I've found my groove in top and middle lanes, as well as a deep and profound love for junglers. I've even played a few supports! I feel pretty good about my League abilities. But... it's the one final role I'm having trouble with. No matter who or what I try, the role of AD Carry has always confounded me. I never feel that I perform particularly well at it, but I'm determined to learn and improve.

I enjoy a lot of champions in many lanes, and own about seventy five champions in total (working on getting all of them eventually). The champions I enjoy and excel with the most are below:

Top Lane: Singed, Akali, Pantheon, Elise
Middle Lane: Lux, Lux, Talon, Lux, Lux, Ahri, Lux, Lux, and Lux. If I'm feeling daring, I also occasionally play Lux. :)
Jungle: Evelynn, Hecarim
Support: Nidalee, Janna, Leona

I've been trying to discover the right way to play an AD Carry. I very much enjoy playing Sivir, and I've also enjoyed Graves, Ezreal, and Vayne, but I've never been particularly good at any of them.

What can I do to get better at the role of AD Carry? I'm determined to master this last piece of the five-man puzzle so I can finally play an entire team by myself, once my time machine invention is finished! :P

Learn to attack move(stutterstep, orbwalk, etc). You can youtube it or look at any doublelift montage clip and see what it is. Knowing how to attack-move is essential to play a proper AD carry. Asides from that part of your mechanics, make sure you know how to cs well without taking lots of damage in return. When it comes to trading/farming in lane, make sure you always ask yourself "is it worth?"

Moving away from mechanics, you need to know positioning when you're ahead, behind or even in the game. Knowing every champion's abilities in the game is essential when dueling/kiting from a champion. For example, enemy team has shen and renek as big divers. Know Shen has a 10sec~ taunt, a shield. With reneketon, he has a stun and a dash that can be used twice if it hits an enemy. You generally just need to know what every champion does with a rough estimate of their cooldowns.

I can go more in-depth but that's the basic knowledge you need as an ADC to start off.

I'd saying learning how to control the lane, such as pushing or freezing, is a really important skill that many ADC's breeze over. I'd say, from the champions that you say you like, focus on Ezreal. He's really easy to play, he's burst at low levels and has lots of poke all through the game, and his reposition makes him a forgiving champion.

yeah same with above. the best for early game is knowing when to push and cs, and when to freeze the lane but still getting some cs. and throughout the game you should really now hot to attack move. that is the core of adr, to attack without being attacked. another thing is as an adr you really need your teammates most of the time to be at full potential. i recommend using cait for her superior range and a great burst-like skill when built well.
+rep if i helped or if you just happen to like repping ^^

Before a match, always look at your synergies. Your support (and possibly even your jungler) should synergize well with you if you plan on doing well. You should also take a look at the type of lane you plan on running.
On that note, there are three main types of lanes:

Farm Lane

Poke Lane

and lastly a Kill Lane.

For more information, you should really check out the Bot lane Synergies Guide.
