The other factor here is the individual character. It takes time to get used to each characters attack speed / animation, and there are some champions that I just flat out won't play if I'm trying to last hit (I'm looking at you, LeBlanc).
As for last hitting under the turret, that is indeed a difficult skill - I am slowly but surely improving in that area, but I still end up losing quite a bit of farm. More practice is required :(

Soraka comes to mind who I have a hard time last hitting with and fiddle sticks lol.
But its like that on purpose, because look at almost all the AD carries their farming is easier in general.
You need to log in before commenting.
Just press in the move button on your mouse, then drag it around; your character will follow the mouse pointer. Now, this is what I call "farming mode". It's useless because it has such a low grip while fighting, running and such, but I use it all the time for farming. Just hover your mouse over a minion when it gets low enough. Fastest reaction time ever, and you never have to click more than once, so better concentration :)
