There isn't that much you can do with wards that makes you pro in the first place.
I guess the most important thing when placing a ward is to make it as effective as possible. For example, you could place a ward right next to Dragon, and people would know when the enemy team is doing Dragon. However, if you place it just a little farther out into the river, you not only have sight of Dragon, but also of the path down the river and the outlet from blue buff.

I please you to help me to improve my playing style. I know that wards are VERY important, but I never know where to place them when.
I mostly play 3vs3 and well yeah, early game at that red-buff-monster in the middle to see if they want to gank, later on dragon and mid. In my opinion more are needed. I like to place some in the bushes between the first and second tower, don't know how to explain the position exactly. Sometimes I place a ward at some random bush to not run into ganks. But hmm maybe you got some better plans?
And well I usually don't play 5vs5, but for sure will play ranked as my cousin loves 5vs5. 2 played 1 won 1 lost, and I blame the lose on our Annie who fed them! :P Second one we won although our Ashe left and it was 4vs5. Guess why we won? Exactly tons of wards told us where to gank. The Yi we had in our team had 330 won ranked games and he made all the ward-work :P next time I bet I won't have the luck to play with a player like him who knows where to place wards so I ask you for help :)
