The idea was actually explored back when mobility and utility where a little more difficult to come by in jungler champions. Twitch was seen the most because of its invisibility, but it wasn't really the trend then and probably won't be the trend now for there are many problems with the idea of playing a squishy long ranged champion in the role of a jungler, some as follows:
- Zero counter jungleing and jungleing protection potential early to mid game, since adc damage, resistances and juke n' chase potentials come mostly from items, which you won't have early game.
- Cannot fight against any born-to-be junglers early to mid game. Try to imagine a fight between a Vayne and a Xin-Zhao early game, or even mid game.
- Don't have in-built tools to help em' sustain themselves in jungle, like most jungler champions have.
- Ganks are not as effective and, since you're not getting as much gold from the jungle as you would in the lane (specially if you are roaming a lot), to succeed as a marksman jungler you would have to take ALL the kills of ALL ganked lanes for yourself.
- Jungle masteries, runes and items sometimes do not fit the adc role.
- Most junglers have strong initiation, while most adcs don't. It's ok to lose a tank, and I agree that depending on the team composition, tanks are not really that useful, but losing initiation options are not something every team can deal with.
...
There are many more of these, and that said, IMHO, adc's can't jungle to save their lives unless it's really for the fun of it.

League of Legends is a game, and is meant to provide fun. To have fun and to help the other players have fun (either them being friend or foe) are objectives that have to be put above all others when playing. Keep this in mind, and you shall become a respectable player.

Feral Flare delays your real build by a significant amount, and doesn't scale off crit/AD/Life Steal
Every other jungler can stay at healthy hp levels with the initial 5 pots, you likely can not
You can't duel so you'd get killed by meta picks like Yi or Xin, who are notorious for killing carries.
You jungle too slowly without items, so you're even more prone to counterjungling
If you can't gank, the entire other team can go on the aggressive, setting your laners behind and then rotating to YOU
If you fall behind, you're useless. You can't farm, teamfight, or even stay alive. Other carry junglers have massive steroids (Yi) or CC (Xin, Wukong), or at least base damage (Vi). Carry junglers have nothing.
