they do have a report unskilled player button I don't know if it's confirmed but I heard it lowers their MMR as punishment instead of banning them. I don't know if the lower MMR thing is true but it's the button I press when my mid laner goes 0-10 in the first 10 minutes.
I absolutely love this idea, I don't mind toxic players playing Normal or Draft but when it comes to Ranked they have no place whatsoever.
The amount of matches I have lost in ranked simply because a player or even a few players has decided to be Toxic, Deliberately feed and just been *******s is diabolical to say the least.
Its even worse when you get them during something important like a Promo match which I have had on so many occasions to the point I have lost THREE promo series because of players deciding if they can't get what they want they will ruin it for the entire team :(
I believe they should take this one step further and do some sort of three strike rule - 1st strike they are banned and have to play Draft or Normal until they prove themselves, 2nd Strike they are banned from all Ranked competition for as long as Riot decides (depending on how sever your actions were in game) and 3rd strike - its over for you, Permanently banned from ANY and ALL ranked based games for life, Not for a season...For as long as you play on that account.
Some may so thats too much but end of the day if you can't learn after 2 bans you really don't deserve to be playing with those who want to do well.
