its funny cuz in trundles judgement he decided to let his whole entire tribe die instead of letting them survive which is totally honorable amiright?
its not about being honorable, its about finding his acceptance. he wanted to be accepted by his tribe who shunned him so he selflessly cast aside his gift in order to be a hero for his people.
what happens is that they don't treat him a hero. hes even more of an outcast because they are now pure of the disease and he's, well, a giant disease bag.
so he abandons his tribe, like they have abandoned him. as it turns out, by martyring him the tribe has doomed itself, and for a brief moment, trundle thinks he can be their hero. but then he realizes, they will never accept him, they will always shun him. he is done with his tribe, let them find their own way to cure themselves.
and that all fit to why trundle trolls, because he has to. hes a weakling, hes the underdog, he needs to troll to get his edge, to cope with the pain, to vent, and to have fun. and his kit unifies that.
what do we have with new trundle? a selfish ******* who lies and steals and bullies people to get what he wants. with the exception of his e, none of his skills match the ice theme. and this so-called underdog/witty side of him that riot loves to parrot is still there is LOST upon his voice and the way he carries himself. even his emotes shows that.
"its ok clubbums, we'll get to smashing soon."
"i'm troll judge, troll jury, and execute... troll!"
that sounds like a dumb troll lord to me.
even then, the traditional trundle skin is a bandaid on the amputation, because even though his voice is still there his animations do not reflect at all with the old trundle. old trundle looked like the underdog, new trundle looks like a generic brute.
to put it as someone else said on the forums:
