They said that if you can run the game on Summoner's rift currently, you should have no issues, performance wise.

As for older champions seeming out of place, Riot's actually been making decent time on Visual Updates lately. Let's just hope they can get on to bigger relaunches with Sion, Taric and Warwick soon. I'm like 90% sure Ryze is the next VU.
