If they can get a new audience to make games for, they should go for it. I don't see what's wrong with exploring new alternatives. EA's stocks have been in the drain lately, and they are drumming up publicity "which you will hear about this week" on how EA is trying to combat sexism in the video game world. How they are trying to revolutionize the game industry from being sexist, just like they tried to do when creating homosexual interactions in Mass Effect 3.

No, Thanks to this, if both of these games fail EA will have yet another scape goat to blame the reason for the failure on, their sexist fan base who bought the game. Just like how they claimed the reason ME3 undersold and didn't do well due to the homosexual scenes.
EA is trying to appeal to a broader audience, and secure the feminist vote for their new games, most likely, Anita herself will review this game and praise it much like how IGN praises EA's games. Because she was paid too in the end, and she and her following will purchase this game.
Anita if about to enter the gaming industry, as a way to appeal to a broader audience and appeal to more people, this is the same tactic most developers use as a means of "we want the Call of Duty audience."
