i don't play card games. they're a cool idea but they always boil down to either a) unwrapping a lucky pack or b) buying a lot of cards
My friend has a store that has cards, comics etc and people sell their cards there. Sometimes my friend opens some boosters and sell the cards so you dont need to be that lucky.

even still, the rare cards are going to have a higher price. im not trying to be mean just saying like it is.
The Magic cards are divided like this:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Ultra-mega-rare
They have a box of common and another of the rest. There are common cards that are much more expensive than rare ones, but depends a lot on the effect.
You arent totally wrong, there are more expensive rare cards than common ones.

I play MtG. Just had a home-draft with some buds. Pulled a Garruk like a boss.
I still didnt have the chance to play a Magic draft. There'll be a pokemon one tomorrow and I have to go, its just epic.
Xiron, you play poker too? And another card game I like is Truco.

I had a pokemon deck, but stopped playing because the other players disappeared. Two weeks ago I found some players and bought a Magic deck too.
I'm playing them almost every day.
