Well what I say is:
Gnarled like the bark of a tree
No one realizes what it's like to be me
Hard and gruff, like a tough steak dinner
Always coming in second never the winner
A poet in spirit but not by profession
Mixing words together, it's more than sexual obsession
Unshaven, my beard grows out so long
How I wish I could turn this poem into song
The words I write flow like a river down stream
I'd always wondered if I loved reality more than the dream
The answer clearly "NO" as I converse in my head
If I couldn't dream I'd rather be dead
By now you're wondering the point of these verse
Clearly it's not to steal a heart nor purse
You simply told me it's "Whatever I say"
So I decided to write a poem wishing you a nice day.
