Whenever I went down, (as long as I was able to survive for 5 seconds) they were right there to pick me back up. The enemy AI were a pain in the ass a good majority of the time where they weren't a cake walk to plow down. That's to be expected from hardcore though. Regardless, this was probably one of the better gears of war campaigns I've played, though, 2 still is one of my favs. It's not the best, but it most certainly isn't terrible.
