Thanks for the sig, MissMaw!
It really is an interesting game. Right now I'm trying Elementalist (just level 4 or something) and I actually need to stick with other people in order to survive. Funny thing. Also I like how your skillset gets changed completely when you swap weapons.
********'s a pretty good fertilizer
If just my client would update the game again. My internet is pretty slow what would force me into downloading the game again at an investment of more than 24 hours. The last time I played it my Sylvari thief was level 35 (?).

Thanks to Aquilegia for this sig!
All the classes I've tried for an extended period of time are all pretty different in their playstyles; which is why I gave up on the thief class in the end, even though it is my main design T.T
My Elementalist can do a lot of things solo, but I prefer to spec her in a support type way.
My Warrior kills things a lot quicker and the moveset tends to be revolved around dealing a lot of damage and playing like a berzerker.
Everything else is kinda still low level, but I'm working on an engineer as well.

is it just me or are the mobs ridicoulusly strong in this game?
I AM NOT AFFECTED BY ELOHELL. NOOBS AND TROLLS NEVER RUIN MY RANKED GAMES.
I DON'T GET STUCK AND I NEVER GET ONLY 2LP FOR A WIN.
I AM UNRANKED.

They can be if you face tank them. This is why you get 2 dodges ;p.
And backtracking to the topic of versatility, I often plays my characters outside their popular roles.
I played my Guardian DPS, and my Warrior as a supportive longbow user before they became meta, and I actually roleplay my thief as a bruiser-y pirate rather than an assassin (Hence why I refuse to call him a Thief.. even though a Pirate is just a more badass word for thief.)
I also play my Ele as kind of a tank, and my Ranger as a support.

lolwut? Having a high skill cap doesn't make them bad. Bad players make them bad. :p Like me. Nut no, seriously Thieves are ******* monsters in PvP. They just really suck at dungeon pugs.
lolwut? dude i main thief and i play against dragon level pvp ranks. i can guarantee you that they are by far the hardest class to do well with in pvp right now. all the meta builds counter them:
From MetaBattle:
Countered By
D/D Ele
Warrior with Longbow
Any class that can maintain strong condition pressure
DPS Meditation Guardians
Power Rangers
now look at the other classes and see if they list that many counters. not saying you can't do well with them. just saying that if you are looking to pvp i would probably pick a different class to start with. maybe engi..cause ****ing broken...lets see drop turrets...stand there...win.
