personal experience? You must be really awesome to be able to tell a difference of a few dozens of milliseconds = /
The reviews are **** and use tests that don't matter at all. I can easily make a test where any browser other than FF will fail.
Also, are you guys talking about FF4 or FF3? It's a pretty big difference.

Just ran sunspider javascript benchmark on FF and Chrome.
Chrone is faster by 5 milliseconds. You got an amazing eye!
EDIT: Here's the screenshot (couldn't past the code). The one on the right is FF and on the left is Chrome.
Also, just so you know, I had over 60 tabs opened in firefox. I had only one tab opened in chrome.

Canoas, I love your posts.
[edit] I've used both browsers and sure Chrome has more apps I prefer Firefox 4 overall. Firefox 4 was a complete upgrade from 3.5 it was faster and easier to use and got more people into Firefox
(What I just wrote reminded me of Dungeons & Dragons editions)

In response to the OP, it was because opening a new tab is done much more often than opening a new window, so they moved it to the top to make the action much quicker. I'd rather just hold down Ctrl then left click on the link though though, no need to right click this way.
