Actually we had 2 minutes of silence at IBM where I work. Some people were quite emotional, so I see why the day means a lot to some people - personally I haven't lost anyone dear to me, because of war. But I could imagine how horrible it must be..
I just don't get why all that hate is necessary.. and killing other people's loved ones just generates more hate - You will probably start blaming someone, when your husband, son or whatever, returns from war in a bodybag - even though he chose it himself..
