A knight rode in on a horse. A great rainbow colored stallion as fast as a plane and a very noble plane at that.
The Knight hung up the reins to the horse on the coatrack, and drew his sword.
"FEAR NOT GOOD CITIZENS, I HAVE COME TO REVIVE THIS THREAD"
waving his sword around, the Knight stuck his sword into the floor, letting it wobble there like a techno song on drugs.
He then promptly sat down on a barstool and bought a round of drinks for everyone, making sure to down his with particular enthusiasm.

"This one.... I don't think he's right in the head" Staring at the man who had appeared in front of them. He was trying to give them all pieces of rubble and then calling it drinks. "Sir. Are you okay?" Hidou asked tentatlively poking the mans head.
An odd looking insect, abnormally large in size, perhaps measuring six inches in length with a thick solid black body, covered with purple and red lines throughout, whizzed past the faces of Hidou and Alinora, speeding off to a safe distance away from them.
The strange bug hovered nearby, it's buzzing still audible. If one were to look out and try to find it, they might see the reflection of light on it's shiny shell, or catch a glimpse of blues and purple as it hummed about.
Or, they might catch a glimpse of it's deep red eyes as it stared them down.

Alinora squealed fearfully at the sight of the giant insect and stumbled, knocking into Hidou. She then fell face first down the stairs and lay there for a bit, eventually pulling herself to a sitting position.
"Ow."
"Ow."
The giant bug flew to a position where it could see Alinora again, flew in an amazingly quick circle around Hidou's head, and the suddenly, in an unexpected act... Dropped something.
That something bounced on the floor and gave out a metallic ring, before rolling onto the stairs. The object bounced down about 3/4's of the stairs before it rolled around and stayed put finally.
Further inspection would reveal that is was a coin, and a rather odd looking one at that. The face of a woman was on one side, elegant in appearance but stern in countenance. On the other side of the coin, was the image of a man, their expressions were identical and many of their features were rather similar.
The massive insect flew from one corner of the room to the next in rapid circles, eventually moving too fast to realistically see where it was going or what direction it was headed. Glimpses could be made out, and suddenly just when you thought you might have caught a good glimpse of it, it was gone. It would have been almost impossible to accurately determine how it left the room.

"It's fantastically morbid this place isn't it? But don't be fooled by looks." He moved the picture and pushed in a stone that was protruding out from the wall. Across the hall a staircase appeared. "Well down we go!" He said as he skipped to the staircase, starting to whistle again. "Oh I should tell you.. don't touch ANYTHING once we go down here.. Or something unpleasant might happen."
