Lich Bane on Annie?

[/quote] You're right, somewhat, but Rylais is also utility, which is like, if you happen not to burst your enemies down, you can keep them from getting away or help your team get away. That's why I say Lich Bane is a greedy item, because sure, you can get away, but your allies are going to die; sure you can chase, but you'll run ahead of your allies and potentially get turned on.[/quote]

[/quote] I just feel like it's a bit pointless to build a rylai's on Annie because it will not win you a teamfight. You say that Lich Bane is a selfish item, but Annie is a pretty selfish character. There are other AP Carries with better team utility like Anivia, Ryze, Karthus, Lux, Morganna, Rumble, and basically anyone with a reliable slow or snare.[/quote]

You slow all your enemies down and help them stay away from your carry; if not that, you're bursting them down, in which Lich Bane is, again, a cost inefficient item to get on Annie for burst. [/quote] I've never been in a position where a 15% slow to 2-3 enemies means you win that team fight, at least not where i could have done better with two NLR to replace the 3k gold from Rylai's.[/quote]

[/quote] And there you go, stack NLR, don't buy Rylais if have RoA, and don't get Lich Bane :P [/quote] That's the thing, the extra ~250g for 7% move speed, and 30MR, a long with MUCH better burst, AND sustained damage means that i buy Lich Bane before i buy a Rylai's or stack NLR. I usually would build Rabadon's, Rod of Ages, and Lich Bane as my core items. (Along with Void Staff as soon as they go above 80 magic resist) It's not an amazing item on Annie, but it is a good item. I would build a Zhonya's before a Lich Bane though.[/quote]
