why? you dont need to slow people as kat, youre picking kat for the damage she deals, and rylai's gives you more damage
also by building randuins not only are you lowering the damage of your ult but a 50% slow isnt going to stop people with gapclosers or any cc for you

It's not for running away, it's for the slow,armor and health. It's the toplane im talking about where many champs will jump in, stun you, do damage and jump out. with randuins, it will leave you at a much safer health cosidering the 70 armor and 500 health. this might be viable if you're behind as the slow will help in jungle ganks.

The problem with Randuins on Katarina is you lose something like 200 damage on your ult, and you're not going to fit it in while you're laning anyway after boots, haunting guise, zhonyas and deathcap/DFG. It would only be useful as a replacement for GA as a sixth item.

^ Because usually, unless it's a tank, I'd kill the enemy at 6 and then buy Death cap. then mobility boots. So maybe I thought my 3rd item has to be randuins to unleash full damage of deathlotus. (Roaming mid that deals Phys damage like talon)
