If someone does something that's considered bad in high elo, but does extremely well for it, saying that what they did is overrated (despite them doing very well) is not only naive, but extremely ignorant as well as arrogant. [/quote] Because I've yet to be proven wrong? There have been a couple good criticisms here so far, but when I'm playing progressively well in normal premades with people who are good (by normal standards :p) against people who are good (again, by normal standards) and then I get a whole bunch of comments saying that I'm a newb for playing this when it's been going extremely well for me and when I've been playing Katarina since december 09 and finally found a way to play her viably in normals. I'm instead linked to a guide that says Katarina only has 2 weaknesses and uses a build that isn't as powerful as mine because it's the "safe" option when I've progressively carried teams and played well using my option. I find it difficult to believe that you even read my post and are simply spewing the same 'SNOWBALL IS BAD' bandwagon. Someone playing karthus at 2.2k elo with 92% winrate AND using mejai is PROOF that there is potential for snowballs to be very effective. Whether you are capable of making it effective yourself is irrelevant. but the 2.2k elo players are way better than you are, and they are way better than I am, and I consider myself a decently good player. If he can be 2.2k elo and win solo queue games with a mejai as karthus, and have extremely good KDR, I'm pretty sure I can pubstomp the newbs who play normal as snowball Katarina. It's a difficult build to use, yeah, sure, and you won't always win unless you're very good at Katarina, but that doesn't make it bad.[/quote]
