Ummmm.... I would say that it's not worth it. The sustain is not as good as just getting a Chalice of Harmony and spamming heal. SV doesn't fit anywhere on GP to me.

No, BT is ****.
The only time it's any good is if you already have super high crit AND an Infinity Edge.
And ten times out of ten you'd be better off building a defensive item instead of getting a BT.
Bloodthirsters are only good on champions with high AD scaling skills who don't rely on auto attacking much. Ezreal, for example, does well with one.
Every bit of damage that your BT adds on auto attack champions, Stark's gives more. It's better all around. It also buffs your allies so THEY do more.
Now, is Stark's a good choice on Gangplank? Not really. He relies on Parrrley to do most of his damage. So why isn't BT good?
Because Parrrley can crit, and if you can crit then IE is better unless you already have 100% crit. Now, your average Gangplank player will have very high crit normally. Trinity, Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer. Why is BT sub par?
You only have three item slots left.
Boots take one. Typically CDR boots or Speed 3 boots. Two slots left. Well you need Last Whisper to counter armor. So one left. Hmmm...
If you don't take a defensive item you're bad. Banshee's Veil is optimal, Quicksilver Sash if they have a lot of hard CC.
There's your Gangplank build.
It'll do ten times better than any build with Bloodthirster.
