I believe I have mastered the ratio of defense to damage. I'm a total egghead. been played this game since beta and along the way I've done an absurd amount of experimentation with the maths of the game. I made a guide thing for Jax Jarvan and Olaf and labeled it as a team guide, but it's really all purpose, meaning I use it for everything. I think it's funny when idiots buy rage-blades and gun-blades on Jax. Critical strike is the only way to play. I buy atmogs on virtually every tanky AD champion. So if you look at the game from a mathematical perspective, you find that critical strike, (atmogs, trinity force, ghostblade) combined with defensive stats (HP, armor, MR) is what will give you the ultimate edge in every single fight. There are exceptions but not many. Sometimes I feed 0/5 and still dominate mid-late game thanks to the way that I build. It's all in the numbers. So yeah :D check out my build/guide if you want to know how to build offtanks.

Yet alone your writing style will result in nobody taking you serious.
Also the prohibited advertising of guides.
And your arrogance.

So:

a) You definitely don't know how the game works.

b) Nobody cares.

Why you make this if anything is irrelevant in 1/2 week?

What? I've known the meta since the beginning of the season.

For the purpose of clarifying this let's just exclude the other points (they're still there though):

Simply by not using any means of making your text easier to read results in two things, either you aren't very diligent or don't give a damn, both aren't really helping ppl taking you serious.

YOU want ppl to read your stuff, advertising (what I also count to "writing style", your OP just sounds like advertisement for you guide) isn't really convincing.

But as I said earlier, except for my constructive critism, what could be easily changed, there's also so much wrong with the content of your post/ideas.

Mathematics come into play under set conditions. Which is why Theory crafting is useful for a game like WoW but hit or miss for a game like LoL.

LoL really doesn't have (a lot of) "set conditions" that are always 100% true.

At best you can only determine a general rule which fits a certain pattern of information. But that rule is subject to change because the patterns can change.

For example the general theory for ADCs and runes is that 15 AD/Armor/MR is good for champions who might not scale exceptionally well with AD because it will help them last hit with auto attacks in lane better. Wheras a champion like Graves/Draven/Varus who all scale relatively well with AD will benefit more from ArP at all stages of the game.

Saying that "building crit" is always the best option does not compensate for your lane match up, nor how well you're doing at any point and time. Additionally "always building Atmogs on tanky ADs" doesn't compensate for enemy champions like Kog Maw or Elise who deal %health as magic damage. Or a champion rushing Warden's mail which makes your attack speed slower meaning less auto attacks and less opportunities to crit.

LoL is not a game that can be easily theory crafted due to a wide variety of reasons. Primarily that you have a total of 10 champions in a game out of a champion pool of over 100. Additionally there are uncontrollable factors on both sides. This is why WoW is much more reliable for theory crafting, in WoW you are playing against a set behavioral pattern, with set values that never change. A raid boss may do a number of things, but they are predictable (for the most part) and this makes theory crafting stable.

League is a primarily PvP based game, players are not necessarily predictable, which means you're never going to have a game that played exactly like the last one...With that in mind you CAN create a core set of items that are preferred on a champion, but that doesn't mean you'll ALWAYS be able to build them, nor does it mean that those items will always be useful.

TL;DR: I admire you for doing the math, but I fear you've missed a key element that makes "certainty" an impossibility in this game.
