Patch 14.14 is due Wednesday! Read on to get up to date on all the changes that are coming live, including eight additions to the AnimaTech skinline, a new champion, and a new PvE Game Mode - Swarm!
These changes appeared on PBE on the 28th of June, but have been slowly shifting over the past week, and may continue to do so. As such, keep in mind that not all of these changes may make it to the live patch. If you’d like to check any of the following changes out before next Wednesday, hop on PBE and queue up!
New Cosmetics - AnimaTech
A whopping eight new AnimaTech skins will be available starting from Patch 14.14. Of these, five skins are of the Epic variety (costing 1350 RP): Battle Bunny Aurora, Battle Cat Yuumi, Battle Bat Xayah, Primordian Bel'Veth, and Primordian Rek'Sai. Battle Dove Seraphine is a Legendary tier skin, costing 1820 RP.
Admiral Battle Bunny Miss Fortune - the Mythic Variant of the 2022 skin, Battle Bunny Miss Fortune - can be acquired through a Mythic Capsule. The capsules will be available for a limited amount of time; each capsule has a 1% chance to drop the Mythic Variant skin, otherwise it will drop different loot. Each capsule costs 750 RP.
Prestige Cyber Cat Yuumi will be easier to snag. All you need are 2000 AnimaTech Tokens, which can be amassed during our new Anima Squad themed Event.
New skins for Aatrox, Briar, Illaoi, Leona, and Yasuo will come in a later patch. Leona will also be getting a Prestige skin in the line.
New Champion - Aurora
The Witch Between Worlds is making her live server debut tomorrow! Aurora is a Freljordian Vastayan, born with an innate ability to interact with the Spirit Realm. She's able to manipulate spiritual energy in a variety of ways - placing hexes, blasting waves of force, exorcising spirits, and even creating a rift between the Material and Spirit Realms.
Envisioned as a solo laner, you're likely to see Auroras hopping about mid lane and top lane. She's a ranged magic damage dealer with lots of mobility, poke, and burst potential. Read up on her abilities in our earlier article!
New PvE Game Mode - Swarm
After a three-week testing period on PBE, Swarm is finally coming to the live servers tomorrow! This bullet heaven game mode can be played solo or with up to three friends. In Swarm, you control one of nine possible Anima Squad cadets, each with their unique abilities and one unique weapon-type, as you take on an unending swarm of Primordians. On the outset, you’ll be able to play Jinx or Seraphine, but as you progress through the story and complete more objectives, you’ll unlock more characters, more guns, and more features.
There are four playable maps - The Warehouse District, The Outskirts, Subterranean Lab, and the Beachhead. Once you’ve defeated the big bad on each map, you’ll be able to play through it all again at a higher difficulty, and unlock Matchmaking Island. When choosing this mode, you’ll be placed on a random map and matched up with other players on Hard difficulty. Read our guide on Swarm to get ready for the mayhem!

Breath of Light (Q) - NEW EFFECT: 1 second's worth of mana cost is now forcibly consumed on-cast. For this second only, any additional mana cost the user would incur is discarded. - Mana cost during Astral Flight Astral Flight unchanged. - Mana cost changed to [30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 + 15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25 per 0.5 seconds after 1 second] from [15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25 per 0.5 seconds].
Astral Flight (W) - Base target range increased to 1500 / 1600 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 from 1200 at all ranks.
Singularity (E) - Mana cost reduced to 80 at all ranks from 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100. - REMOVED: Champion-summoned units classified as minions no longer have their movement speed reduced to 0 while within its area.
Falling Star (R) - AP ratio increased to 75% AP from 65% AP.
