Hey I am new to making builds here and I just finished my first guide a week or so ago. What is the best way to get views on your guide versus others? Mine currently has 3k views and 2 votes.
One thing that helps is updating it frequently. I believe that the default sort is most recently updated. I'm not saying that you should "bump" your guide, but if you are constantly improving your guide, it will stick to the top of the list when people search for a guide to a given champion.
Feel free to add a link to your guide to your signature, and it'll post whenever you talk on the forums. Sometimes, that's enough to get me (and others) looking at your guide, regardless of the guides it's "competing" against.
Many factors but some I can list quickly beyond others already listed :
Does the guide follows the Guide bible
Is it an amazing guide both in content and design such as the top rated guides
How many guides on that champion already exist and how different will be yours
I think it's though to get views on guides for champs which aren't popular or in the tier lists. I think if you can check which champ are "in" then you can have a fair idea.
