Lane dominance and excellent trading: Caitlyn, Draven
    Gods of kiting: Ezreal, Ashe
    Simple lategame hypercarry: Tristana
    Mechanically demanding lategame hypercarry: Vayne
    Great teamfight initiate: Varus
Zones out 5 people by himself: Kog'Maw
Tons of AoE damage: Miss Fortune, Twitch

Doesn't fit in current meta: Sivir, Quinn, Corki, Graves

As far as I know Graves is fine.

Ashe is outclassed by Varus... so yea

    Best Burst Carry: Twisted Fate

I tryed quinn in free week, always done well...

Twitch is both hypercarry and aoe damage, but sacrifices a lot of hp, being very squishy

Yeah, Quinn's powerful. She's got great mobility, in terms of the current meta. I think Twitch is more of a lategame hypercarry than AoE.

Sivir is ****. She just doesn't have the scaling or attack speed to keep up with other carries, and she's too easy to counter; all you have to do is not use skills and she'll run out of mana pretty quickly.

She really only stands a chance against the other non-meta carries, pretty much every other carry Satella mentioned beats her. XD It's not even really her laning that makes her low tier, it's her entire kit in team fights. She's by far the riskiest carry to use effectively in team fights, due to the hybrid range/melee nature of it, and no highly effective escapes outside her ultimate.

I disagree with Quinn. She's not the best adc, but if you use her early game power with her passive right, she'll be able to win lots of matchups. She doesn't stand a chance against Draven though.

Currently, Caitlyn is highly regarded as the best ad carry, with Draven and Miss Fortune not far behind.

Caitlyn is the safest AD carry in the game and con win many lane matchups with her insane poke and safety. She retains this safety in team fights, which is why she's so esteemed, and very few characters can dive her easily.

Draven has the highest damage output of any AD carry through the early game and mid game (Provided he's doing well.) and can often win match-ups (even against Caitlyn, if done right.) through deer damage output. A lot harder to use though, and far riskier in team fights, though he's pretty safe in lane.

Miss Fortune has the best AoE damage of any AD carry via her ultimate. With Black Cleaver she fills a niche of being a party armor debuff machine. She's almost as powerful damage wise as Draven but safer and generally easier to use.

    Special mentions:

Varus counters Draven and has pretty good match ups himself. He blends well with AoE comps, like Miss Fortune due to his ultimate. His major issues stem from his absolute lack of mobility.

Vayne, the late game powerhouse is unrivaled in carrying power after a certain point in the game. However her laning can be a tad unsafe and she is one of the hardest carries to use effectively. Not a beginner pick.

Ezreal is a very balanced carry with great mobility and poking power. His main issue lies in his less than stellar late game.

However, I am admittedly a very **** AD carry in terms of actual mechanics, so I can't really help you with getting better with any of them. :p

Caitlyn wins out due to safety and pushing power XD

I still think Miss Fortune is better than Caitlyn

Focus on your positioning, kiting, last hitting and general lane mechanics, they're all essential if you want to play AD at a decent level. Make use of attack move. Other people already mentioned champions.
