    How to play Vayne

I just got Vayne and was wondering how to play her correctly. I don't have trouble on the build, its mostly when and where to use her abilities. Any tips for her would be great!

Vayne's primary harass in lane comes from her Auto + Q Auto. When in range of your enemy, attack them once, q sideways, and attack them again.

The best way to improve as Vayne is to know her ranges extremely well. That way, you can force trades at your max range Q + auto, limiting the harass you take from enemies and minions when trading. Normally, Vayne players aim to force one auto from the enemy AD for a Q auto Q.

One tip is to use abuse enemy missteps. Stay out of enemy autoattack ranges, and when they step forward trying to harass you when you're not in range, back out. Then, when they turn backwards walk up and auto q auto. They might retaliate, but then you'll win the trade as they only auto'd once. If they don't retaliate that's even better.

Overall Vayne is highly reliant on mechanics and reactions, so just play her more and you'll get better :)

I main Vayne, but I find it rather hard to explain the mechanics. I think the most important one is to learn how to kite as Vayne. When someone like Renekton comes at you, most of the players just pop ultimate and run away while the most effective way is to use ultimate and use your Tumble to give stealth and more distance then auto-attack the Renekton to get Tumble off cooldown and repeat.

Silver Bolts are for late game but in laning phase if you go for AA-trades do look for the 3rd attack for passive proc. AA + Q for resets and another AA. E is just used to gain distance between approaching champion or when you look for kill. Flash + E to get stun against wall is neat trick many don't do to secure kill. Really hard to explain trough words, I suggest you go look some vayne plays in youtube or twitch.

My tips are similar to joxuu and i also main Vayne. In laning phase try to last hit minions then Tumble and aa the enemy adc or support then go back and last hit minions then Tumble aa the champ again. If your leaning against a wall(like so close its like you can flash over), if you tumble your aa resets right away. Use your ult Final Hour and Tumble to juke or re position yourself. Oh in laning phase, coz most of the times support hide in the bush and cc you when you come close, ward the bush in the bottom so when they go in or if the adc go in use your e to pin them to the wall and aa Tumble aa if you can kill them chase if not just go back since you won that trade(or whatever you call that).

In teamfights dont ult right away. Wait if you are really fighting them. So go for aa and if they start using their spells and ult like Renekton, Riven etc. aa them and ult then Tumble right after your ult then keep on aa from a safe distance. If anyone come for you Tumble away from then and try to land a stun or just push them away with your e.

Ahahaha sorry for the long comment xD.

I'm pretty sure her Tumble is an AA-reset, so it might help early game to AA- Tumble-AA when harassing enemies or to last-hit minions.

You should wait for someone else to post who actually plays her though lol They'll have more tips.
