League of Legends (LoL) Question: season 6

This may be better as a discussion thread.

That said, I'm betting Lucian will be strong, and maybe on-hit Kog'Maw will wreck for some time until Riot nerfs it. On the other lanes the effect would be more complex so I don't even know what to expect.

Caitlyn is definitely going to be played a lot more. She was played at the start of Season 5 before burst ADC's ruled the game (Graves, Corki) but then fell flat towards the middle and end of the season despite small buffs. She didn't do well in the Cinderhulk tank meta due to lack of synergy with Blade of the Ruined King but season 6 is going to make her have extreme strengths and weaknessess that give her the opportunity to abuse her powerspikes. That is something she didn't have access too before. She was a lane bully who would be out-traded by any ADC level 1 - 3 provided she was in range of their auto attacks. Now, her new Piltover Peacemaker and Headshot provide her with the tools she needs to be that lane bully and zone control ADC.


Also, I hope Lissandra will get played a lot in season 6. She was played in march - april of 2015 and in the Spring Split of LCS, but slight nerfs made her go from a contested top tier pick to a somewhat decent top laner who was only good in kite/engage comps. With changes to ADCs, and their teamfighting + scaling improved, she'll probably become a contested pick again due to pick potential and being able to burst ADCs.

I'm thinking that twitch top might come back into meta because of the new adc items, the youmuus and ruunans changes, and the new masteries. Actually...i think that im going to hate s6 early on because im a tank main and i already hate adc's with a passion.
