League of Legends (LoL) Question: TIPS FOR A NEW PLAYER

Your question is too wide to be answer, what are you looking for?, game strategy?, how to improve your self, how to get to ranked games?, what role and champions are?,

The big picture is the game have one objective to destroy, the enemy nexus you do it by beating your enemies towers.

How do you win? You play better (as a team) then the other one.

3 aspects that will make you better then the enemy team.

1) Gold, have more gold then the enemy, the more gold you use (yes, gold worth nothing until you use it in the shop), the better stats you will have and the more powerful you will be, you should buy of curse the right items. You get gold by achieving objectives, last hitting minions and monsters, and from kills and assist. (and before the game make runes and masteries, in the start you should follow guilds for it).
2) Micro game - Mechanics, know what your champion can and can't do, and get the ability to play it as you want to play him, and know your opponents abilities and gameplay.
3) Macro - know what to focus in the game, when to split, when to get a tower, when to get a dragon, when to roam from your lane to other lanes, vision and so on.


Each of the things above take time to learn, you should read guild, search for answers, and don't afraid to try new things/champions/roles.

If you are a new player I recommend by starting with the basics, trying to deal damage and knowing abilities for a champion. For instance, with the master yi example if you know the champ and its abilities, (passive, q, w, e, r) then you got the basics, and you can build onto that. For now, buy items from your recommended list, and understand the concept of items. Some easy champions to try are annie, soraka (support), and garen.
