League of Legends (LoL) Question: Votes on guide disappeared

Votes on guide disappeared

Im not sure if this is a bug or if the votes count is supposed to reset at any point (haven't been a member of the site for that long), but my Evelynn guide used to have around 41 votes and now only has 16.

Not meaning to sound big-headed or saying that I am the best and deserve more votes but I was just wondering where they all went and why. Any information is appreaciated!

It's likely showing your member score rather than your guest score. The two scores are calculated separately with the higher of the two being displayed, along with its vote count. You haven't lost any votes, you're just being shown the number of member votes you have since your member score is higher at the moment.

Yeah thanks for sharing but the one thing i don't get is like @Chromuro said guest votes are like 80% so i'm not sure why it would show 16 member votes as opposed to like 26 guest votes? Or maybe i've just misunderstood it

Because it shows them based on the score (the green bar under the votes). Right now your guest score is lower than your member score, the number of votes is irrelevant.

Welcome into member score hell, the second most difficult hell to escape after elo hell.
What Kaji said is true, it happened the same with my malz guide (right now is sitting with 11 votes, it should have like at least 40+ votes) and I guess happened the same with Kaji's malz guide (...nope, I'm not stalking him).
You'll have to wait that you'll get enough positive guest votes or negative member votes (I think the best is the first one) to get back to guest score.
It would be cool if we could still keep track of guest votes since they are a good 80% of the votes in the guides normally.
