Why is there a minoin body block?

Why is there a minion body block?, I think the game would be more fun to every one, as no one use it as a strategy it only make someone move to some where he didn't intended/
Don't be too sure. Minions are vital allies in the early game, and as you mentioned, can be used to hind behind or escape through (if the escaper has PD for instance)
Mid-late game, minions don't necessarily apply pressure by dealing damage. The minion block (together with blocking abilities and whatnot) guarantees the minions create a zone. Which is nice, as it provides an interesting mechanic to the game. It would be a shame if minions could just be ignored, wouldn't it? (apart from them being necessary to siege turrets)
Making good use of minions can definitely turn the tides when reacting to a gank, for example, to get those cooldowns back up or force the enemy to use their gap closers early. It would be a very annoying mechanic if minions moved at random, but their actions are actually fairly deterministic. So it can be (and is) a strategy to make use of minion block.
EDIT: Thought experiment: imagine minion block wouldn't exist, and picture a Nasus vs Garen top lane. What will their lane look like if they can just walk right through the minions to trade?
Well, considering that the E on Garen, Judgement, allows him to ignore unit collision, so this isn't the best example. However, I do entirely see your point, and many matchups would be very different, and melee characters could far more easily close gaps on ranged laners.
I get what you say but I still don't think the minion block provide more then it takes. I get the zone but it would still be a zone with minions between you. There are so much times when you try to move in one direction and becuase the minion block the auto path make you move to the other direction, its not just the blocking itself.
Dude, you're just short-sighted. From a normal battle sense, two beings can't be in the same space. Second, removing a mechanic can have ramifications that you can't even think of yet. Third, there are few times where it is a massive problem. A little cs is not worth re-doing a mechanic that frankly makes sense and would be weird otherwise. The only time it really is a problem is when you have a massive wave, and there are bigger issues at that point than not being able to go through it. Saying that minions shouldn't impede movement is like saying terrain shouldn't impede movement: it gets in your way sometimes, and that's kinda the point of it.
I don't agree with you as the point of terrain is to block you from moving while the point f minions is to be force the game to move on and to be a gold income.
In addition think of Chogath for example when he can't move throw a tinny minion he can one shot even by stepping on him.
for the same space, there is an option in the game to go through minions such as ghost and the old PD.
I feel like the issue with Minion block isn't the fact that it exists, I think it's how if you're behind two or three minions and you click frantically to walk somehwere, your champion starts jittering in place. Also, if two minions are walking side by side, they may as well be a piece of moving terrain.
If you could move thru minions,it would really bug out the movement imo. Also, there are some runes to bypass minion blockage for a short period of time,I think by getting a kill with your ult?I dunno, but yea,it would mess up the movement I think
First of all it won't mess the movement, the blocking is the thing that mess the movement.
Second, There are a little things that give you to move through minions like ghost and PD (if it wasn't change yet).
Third Riot can code things a way that it won't mess the movement it their job to code what they want not what they think they can.
But but...it makes sense. See, Fizz, being a fish, is the only one who can naturally slip between minions. If everyone could do that, would it mean that everyone becomes a fish?
Fish is awesome, that's actually why I was concerned that Fizz would lose his minion slipping advantage. But otherwise I agree that removing minion block is a great idea, it's pointless in terms of gameplay and makes fights random. You'd just have to give Fizz a passive Waterwalking to make it up to him.
