This is a tier list of how scary wave management knowledge are on certain champions, in my opinion. If you don't understand wave management, start at the bottom and as you study it, start climbing up the ranks and playing those champions.

psychosplitters
do not let them control wave. you'll never win lane without a gank. j u n g l e  d i f f .

Adventure capitalists
The masters of gold efficiency, they extend laning as far as possible because their kit is extremely strong as wave scaling.

hostile farmers
The waveclear and base damage of these champions allow them to control lane and make it as short as possible so they have roam/recall timers.

Greedy peasants
These champs have limited farming capacity, and have to force plays in order to scale into their true form.
