Tri Force ISN'T better then IE for Talon, in terms of damage. It offers better utility, but damage from IE is better (even if you count in the Tri Force proc).
Also, may I know what ELO/summoner level are you? "

Just a heads up, in mid (apparently the best lane for talon):
1) ignite>exhaust
2) mercury's treads are the best choice.
3) Flat armor seals aren't that good. Better get scaling ones.
