ionic spark can't add much late game damage. It's much better early when people don't have a lot of MR yet. And it doesn't give you any AD by itself. Only the procs with every fourth attack.

Precisely :D Sometimes it's more then worth it to play vayne this way.
Nevertheless, AD vayne is definitely better at late game focusing of enemy squishies. Can't disagree with that.
